The Hagmoth
... is located just north of the CORE MODULE. The region is the reputedly the home of Fey Folk, and sometimes haunt of Orc raiding parties. There are rumors of ruins and darker spirits of the forest which protect them. The HAGMOTH MODULE aka The Hagmoth is an expansion MODULE which features much wilderness adventure opportunities, it offers access to the CORE MODULE, ORC WILDS, and the NORTHWOOD MODULE.
The tales of this area are rife with encounters of Fey Folk, often wielding awesome magic, and evidencing the charm and craft for which the Fey are famous. It is not uncommon for a human child from nearby areas to go missing and the loss blamed upon the Fey Folk and evil forest magic. The woodsmen all advise to shun the deep Northwood. They attest to any who would hear of the horrors inflicted upon their own numbers by the dark spirits which guard forest secrets.
The Brashak Wastes
Dark, dank, deep forest of an indeterminate age. The trunks here are often described as 'twisted' and even 'spooky', and most woodsmen will not enter the wood for fear of the spirits they attribute to the region.
The Hagmoth Forest
This is the northern most portion of this region and is the least well-known of all the Northwood. Logging does not take place in this forest, it is far from the river and also presents a bit of a 'spook-factor' with the local labor when asked to work here. The woodsmen are not often willing to discuss the details, but many will at least grudgingly acknowledge having seen or encountered the Fey Folk. All will give travelers warning against interaction with the little folk.
ADDED BONUS
This module is intended as a wilderness and ruins-searching bonanza for those brave enough to attempt these difficult lands. THIS IS NOT FOR THE WEAK CHARACTER - know something of the campaign and have at least ten levels before you try this module.
